My Castle

So, my husband and I have decided to go away for a romantic weekend the week of our anniversary. We’ve been having some “issues” in our marriage and I thought it would be a perfect time to work on those. So I was looking for some sexy lingerie (”romantic weekend”, don’t forget) and guess what? They have MEN’s sexy lingerie too! I didn’t even think about getting something for my husband until I happened upon that page. I especially like the thong with the zipper in the front. Oh-la-la. Actually, some of that stuff would look really nice on my husband (leaving the naughty stuff aside) but I doubt he’d wear it. He’s more of a “Fruit of the Loom” type man. *sigh* I, however, am most definitely a purple nightie type woman, so he’d better watch out.

Anyway, we’re going to spend two nights in a suite located in a castle. It’s a little pricey and we’re a little poor, but we’re using some extra money we saved up and utilizing their special pricing. You should go check out the pics– the suites are absolutely stunning. I’m looking forward to just hanging out on the balcony for a little and maybe cuddling up by the fireplace. And then calling myself “Princess Lizzie”. I can do that after I’ve spent the night in a castle, can’t I?

I discovered this little gem of a place after I tried to make a reservation at our campground/resort (where we’re members). I couldn’t get through and was searching online for alternatives. I’m thrilled to have found it. I think, though, if it weren’t for the specials I probably wouldn’t be able to go. Er, I mean, we wouldn’t be able to go. But we lucked out. Was someone looking out for our marital interests? Hmmm… So, we’re going to do that and I’m going to get to ride in a horse drawn sleigh (hopefully we still have snow then) and all will be well in my world for two whole days. I can’t wait.
