Where is my GL?
I’ve got a little rant about Guiding Light that I’ve been meaning to get off of my chest.
What is going on with Dinah Marler? Her thing with her brother Bill is really creeping me out. She conspires with Grady to get Lizzie and Bill away from each other and then they kidnap Lizzie so Dinah can come running to the rescue? Is that sick or what?
I haven’t been watching it as much as I used to. This past week I’ve only watched one or two days. I did try to catch up on CBS.com, but couldn’t get all the way to the end. Dinah is just seriously making my skin crawl. I honestly expect her to start spying on her brother while he’s in the shower. OR maybe even trying to get a sneaky little kiss in. It’s disgusting.
And Mallet and Marina just don’t cut it with me. I know that they’re a real life couple, but she is just way too much. She seems to have forgotten that Mallet was a detective while she was still in diapers and he only lost his position recently. Who is she to order him around like that? And why is he taking it? It’s unnatural and, quite frankly, takes away from what could be some really interesting storylines.
The writers are really starting to suck and they all need replaced. The two storylines I’ve mentioned above need to go and they need to focus more on the romantic aspects to Lizzie and Bill and what’s going on with Cassie. Get rid of Dinah’s disgusting fetish and find something else for Marina to do with her time. Gah!
