The Cleaner- Another Contest!

I’m excited about A&E’s new original series- “The Cleaner” starring Benjamin Bratt- coming to tv screens July 15, 2008. I received a pre-release screener and was able to watch the pilot episode. I LOVED it! It’s an exciting and fresh program with practically no predictability. I thought I’d be able to predict the outcomes of a couple of scenarios but I was wrong. The show is like a fictionalized “Intervention”. I wrote a review for the program at BellaOnline. I’ll copy a portion here:

“The Cleaner” follows Will closely, but viewers are also treated to up-close looks at the lives of the team members and the families they help. The targets aren’t shown as criminals who should be locked up, but as victims of circumstance who stand an excellent chance of overcoming their personal demons. There are no obvious bad guys in this program and that makes it an even more intense drama. There seems to be a tone of “Intervention” here, with a more dramatic form of the intervention. Everyone is loved by someone and everyone is hurt by someone. There are setups to certain scenes that made me think “Oh, how predictable” but when the scenes played out I ended up happily surprised and eager for more. I was cheering the story as it unfolded and couldn’t wait to see good things happen. And by the end of the program I found myself caring deeply about all the characters involved.

This show is really that awesome. Now about the contest…

“The Cleaner” premieres Tuesday July 15 at 10PM ET, so your entries should be received no later than Monday, July 14, 2008 at midnight ET. As with my first contest, I will use Random.org to determine the winner and will announce it Wednesday, July 16, 2008 on this blog. If you’re a winner I will make an effort to contact you via email or your site’s contact page (please make those available to me).
