Smiley Smiles
I haven’t been watching my soaps very much lately. A lot has been going on in my life (all too personal to post on any blog- I’m crazy like that) and, honestly, they were starting to bore. Guiding Light used to be my all time favorite- even with their format. But, alas, I couldn’t take any more of the sappiness. My favorite characters are Lizzie (Duh!) and Reva, and if they’re going to to be given crappy scripts I don’t want to see it. I can’t even remember the last time I watched As the World Turns. I’m pretty sure it was before Katie and Brad got married, but they were planning on it. When that happened I just had to turn it off. Does this mean that I’ve finally found something better to do?
I do like to watch the beautiful people, though I know many of them have probably been to a charlotte cosmetic dentist or used some other similar service. I’d love for my nose to be just so and my teeth to be a straight and sparkling white (you’d think I’d quit drinking coffee if this is my ultimate goal). I don’t think many of my favorite stars have had a lot of work done, but their smiles… Priceless. There was one actress, I think she played on Days of Our Lives way back, who had too much surgery. Her face just looked frozen in time. Kind of like the Joker’s, except prettier. I’m pretty sure the actress that plays Katie Perreti-Snyder has had a little bit too much taken off of her nose. If she’d have let it have just a bit more she’d look a lot more real (her smile is stunning though).
I haven’t been watching as much tv as I normally do- all around. I’ve tried to catch up on In Plain Sight and a couple of other shows that are coming back on this summer (see my review here), but I spend way too much time doing other things. None of which includes online socializing/networking or watching episodes I missed. Maybe I’ll look into some dental work. Just out of curiosity.
