She’s finally doing it

Today I was helping my sister find a new camera. She insists on going to the brick and mortar stores to find something and isn’t too receptive to the idea of shopping online. She doesn’t understand that sometimes you can find the absolute best buy online. I’ve written about Buy.com before and I stand by their great deals. I looked on there and found a seriously awesome camera and sent my sister to the website. She didn’t buy the camera, but she’s trusting me enough to get a printer- which is funny because she doesn’t need a printer.

My sister is very skeptical of shopping anywhere online that isn’t eBay. She doesn’t even want to order it online and go pick it up. I told her to go check out the cameras at her favorite b&m store, then go online to make the purchase. It’s so much nicer that way. Honestly, you can buy the stuff at the store, get it home and then have to take it back anyway. What’s the difference? Shop at reputable retailers and you have very little to worry about. Hopefully this will propel her into the 21st century.

Anyway, the camera that I picked for her was the one that my family is going to get me for Christmas (they still don’t believe I’m serious). It’s a beautiful camera. I just love it. Of course, I saw a similar camera that was 10 megapixels instead of 7.1 and if it goes on sale at Buy.com I’ll be charging that puppy and then wrapping it myself.
