Primetime is sleep time

What’s going on with As the World Turns? Dusty Donovan’s been murdered, Meg lost her baby, and Lily is trying to kill herself? There’s something really going wrong with that show. I’m about up to my eyeballs with dying babies and drugged up maybe-killers.

I’ve been bad concerning my NBC boycott. I got rehooked on The Office. It comes on right after My name is Earl and both shows are hilarious. I was watching the show two weeks ago and there was a different setup of office desks with the young kid and Ed Helms (I don’t really remember the character names yet- oops). Was that the episode before the writer’s strike? Anyway, it was memorable because they were working on inventory or something and the men got drunk while the woman behind them pretended to get drunk (all the while dumping her shots in the trash can). That just made my day. I was expecting to see more on that this past week, but it seems they went further back in time. When did the young dude take Jan’s job? I’m so confused.

Anyway, I’m not watching dramas right now because my feelings are still hurt about Journeyman. Jericho and House come back next month, so I can start watching again then. Neither of those are on NBC (WTF, NBC? What is that nonsense you’re airing now?), so I won’t feel guilty. Mondays are now reserved for Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery Health. Isn’t that wonderful?

What are your favorite prime time shows?
