Mom Movies
I have often thought that I would love to own one or two popcorn machines (we have a hotdog machine) just so we could have our own “home theater”- without the huge expense. We’d just get the popcorn popping and throw in a DVD (or VHS, because we do still own one). But I haven’t really even seen any movies coming out that I’d be interested in seeing. Does this mean I’m getting old and boring.
Probably.
Well, last week “Iron Man” came out and I’m anxious to see it. I’ve always been a Robert Downing, Jr. fan (I have no idea why) and I love comic book based movies. Normally, our family picks two movies. That’s it. Nothing else. The movies are usually a kids movie (for my Mags) and something that my teenager and my husband can agree on. I am left floundering. But not this time. I’m getting the popcorn and huge soda ready for this weekend and I’m having some mom movie time. Whether they like it or not.
