Missing My Shows

I’ve been wanting a laptop computer for a long time. I still haven’t managed to procure one, but it’s so high on my wish list that I’ll probably cry if I don’t get one for Christmas (look for tears on or about December 25th). I was in the coffee shop this past weekend and I think I was the only person there that wasn’t on a laptop or surfing online via my phone. I feel so out of touch. Technology is passing me by! Argh!

Ok, I’m being dramatic. I probably won’t cry if I don’t get a new laptop for Christmas. I’ll be getting one with my school refund. But my daughter has been using the computer a lot to do her own school work, so I can’t get on as often as I want. And I’ve been missing some of my shows and have been wanting to watch them online to catch up. That’s not been happening either. How am I supposed to comment on my favorite programs when I’m missing them? Another ARGH!

I will say that from what I’ve seen of “As the World Turns” lately I’m not missing a whole lot. The story line with Dusty and that new chick that looks like Jennifer is a real turn off. I just think he should get with Emily and let go of Jennifer’s ghost. I mean, this woman can’t possibly think that he’s really interested in her for anything other than her similarity to his dead wife. It’s just a sick storyline in my opinion (and on this blog my opinion really does matter). Also, stop making Emily obsess over that little boy. That’s just as disturbing.
