I’m Dreaming of a New Camera

Buy.com is having another great sale this week. I found this gorgeous Kodak 7.1 MP Easy Share ZD710 Digital Camera (pictured) for only $124.99. The best part about this is that I just told my husband and daughter that they could go together to buy me a new camera for Christmas. I’ve got an older model, lesser megapixel Easy Share that really needs to retire. It was lovely when we first purchased it, but, alas, it’s past it’s prime. And besides, this ZD710 is nice. *ahem* It also prints directly from compatible printers. Guess what, dear family, we have a compatible printer. That dock will work so perfectly with this camera. *ahem*

You know, come to think of it, I could just buy the camera now and let them sign the card on Christmas. That’s normally what I do anyway (unless I want a chainsaw or a cow figurine for my birthday or Christmas, that is).

At any rate, I was reading the reviews and the worst one was that this camera doesn’t come with a charger. That’s ok. I have a Kodak Easy Share printer dock and that recharges the batteries. From what I’ve researched so far that’s just about perfect for me. Plus, Buy.com still offers Free Budget Shipping, even for their weekly deals. If I use Google checkout, get approved for the Buy.com credit card and buy this week, that lovely camera would possibly cost me all of $84.99. Oh yes. This will be so perfect for my new blog I’m dreaming up. Also, you know, for taking pictures of my family.

There are definite pluses to shopping online. And this camera is one of them.
