I want some rain
Our weather in my part of Ohio has been horrendous. Meaning very, very dry. There has been almost no rain in the last month and this town is like a dustbowl. It seems like everyone is using car covers right now to keep the dust off. Pretty soon it’ll be because of the rain.
One good thing about Gustav is we’ll get rain up here. And we desperately need it. My aunt owns a farm and said that they couldn’t make hay for a while because the hay just isn’t growing. In June their corn got drowned because there was too much rain. I imagine September won’t be any better. I know that no politicians can do anything about the weather conditions, but it would be nice if they would take a serious look at the climate change. People are too stuck in their ways and I don’t see many of them changing their farming/living habits to accommodate things like drought conditions and soggy weather.
I’ll be going to do a rain dance now
