I missed them
Well, the second episode of season 3 of “Heroes” was on tonight. If you missed it, well, I’m sorry for you. It was, of course, splendid. Remember the first season and dude was drawing the future? Well, we have a new dude drawing the future. Except this dude is in the African desert and doesn’t seem to know any of the people involved in the plot(s)- except Parker, who apparently is really important again.
I love good science fiction. Not like that movie on the Sci-Fi channel where the people were trapped in a town for a hundred years and the Ogre had to eat one of their townsfolk a year (muy cheesy). But like “Heroes” and “The X-Men”. Comic book sci-fi? Hmm, interesting. Anyway, I have found myself getting lost in the story line and I just want to pop some NV diet pills, get skinny and audition for a part. I don’t even care if it’s just the part of a Sylar victim. How fun would that be?
Ok, I’m exaggerating. I’m way too old to be an effective hero- even for the lunch of a villain. But it’s an exciting program and really gets my blood pumping. It reminds me of how I felt when I watched “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”- and “Guiding Light” when it was good (ugh). I liked “Journeyman” like that last season, but they cut me off at the knees with that show. And with “Jericho”. I refuse to get into a program now until I know it’s going to make it to season two. Seriously, guys, how can you keep doing this to us (fans like me, of course)?
