Happy Birthday to a Boy and a Girl
Yesterday was a busy for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Of course, it’s always busy there, but this time for a special reason- or two. Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie gave birth there yesterday. Aguilera, with Jordan Bratman, welcomed a bouncing baby boy into the world. Richie, with Joel Madden, welcomed a beautiful little girl.
Richie and Madden named their baby girl Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Nicole checked out of the hospital with baby Harlow just hours after the baby was born. Representatives say that mom and baby are doing fantastic. I don’t really blame her for going home. She’s got enough money and she can afford to have a nurse on hand should the need arise. I’m sure there’s better security at her house too. I can imagine the crazy paparazzi bursting in flashing cameras. Ugh.
Aguilera’s son was born via C-section, so unfortunately they won’t be leaving the hospital so early. She and husband Jordan have yet to either name or release the name of the little guy, but reports say that they were considering the names Jackson, Jake, or Max. I personally like Jackson, but that’s just me. Mom and baby are reported to be fine other than the C-section. I’ve had one of those and it’s no walk in the park right after the delivery. With this batch of Celeb babes I’m ecstatic that crazy names aren’t making a comeback (yet). Hopefully we won’t be seeing steamy videos of these kids online in 20 years.
