Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama

Amazing! George W. Bush’s first Secretary of State, Colin Powell, went on “Meet the Press” and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States.

I have seen paper after paper (some, like the Chicago Tribune and LA Times are purportedly right leaning) endorse Obama and now this. Amazing. Powell was used by the Bush administration in the more nefarious ways and I’m glad to see that he’s not going to stand for McCain’s hate-mongering and dirty campaign tactics.
