Bad Time to Move
Considering the fact that the real estate bubble has officially popped, now might be a good time to consider buying a piece of Wilmington NC real estate. For those that already live there, the news that the boom has “fizzled” is probably not good, but for those that would love to live there… well.
I spent some time down that way a couple of years ago. To say that it’s beautiful is an understatement. The river is gorgeous, the weather is gorgeous and the hospitality is excellent. Of course, I was a tourist at the time, but I’m sure I could grow accustomed to that lifestyle. You certainly don’t get that kind of goodness living in my neck of Ohio. Because of the housing slump, real estate is going for practically a steal. Prime pieces of land could very well be up for grabs and that’s a good thing for the less lavish spender.
This would be a perfect time to pick and move to warmer climes. At least for my family. I’m seriously considering it at this point. Winter will soon be upon us again and, well, I really hate winter. Snow is not my favorite sight. I could do without the perfectly frosty mornings. Of course, to move we’d have to sell our own little abode. Too bad that market is just as bad in Ohio.
