I’m Back… So?
I have been on vacation. That sometimes happens during the holidays, don’t ya know? So, t.v. has been off, computer has been off, and I’ve been doing the mother/wife thing. Fun, fun, fun.
Can I also say that I’m annoyed as all get out? I check my email expecting some kind of notice from a particular someone that we’ve gone “live” and there’s nada. I wrote two not-so-bad articles for a site that was supposed to go live December 1st. That came and went. Then I was asked to write an article for an idea I had, but instead break it up into two parts. I would be paid for those two parts as a single article. It would have worked out just fine for me were I to have been paid for the two articles I’d already written. I wouldn’t expect to be paid if those articles sucked, but unfortunately the “editor” told me that the articles were good and could he have a couple more. Nope. Not until I am paid. Looks like I saved myself some trouble.

Like I said before, the television has been turned off. I happened upon a “Frost Returns” episode over the Christmas holiday and seriously considered gouging my own eyes out. It looked like Charles Schulz had drawn the cartoon- while he was drunk. And the music? I would have preferred to listen to it during my own funeral, thank you very much. What the hell? They think just because kids watch that nonsense they don’t have to at least draw it with some kind of sense? I’m pretty sure the artists were all drunk and trying to win a prize at a party.
As you can see, I’m not in the best of moods. I would apologize for that, except for the fact that I’m actually going to publish this turd of an entry and let the chips fall where they may. I’d like to go into more detail than that, but I really don’t feel like it. I’m simply stating that I don’t like getting dicked around and it looks like that’s exactly what happened to me this time. Whoop!
Next week new programming comes on t.v. and before then? Well looks like some marketing “guru” doesn’t like that someone linked to every damned person in the Entrecard directory. Except that he did the same thing. Uh-oh. It looks to be almost a decent little blog drama at which to point and laugh. I’ll keep you updated.
If I can stomach the bullshit.

If WordPress updates one more time, I swear to God I’m moving to Movable Type. This shit is getting on my last nerve.
