Audience Response Systems

Soon I’ll be officially a business woman. That means that I’ll be holding meetings and making presentations. All the fun stuff that leads to making money. That means that I’ll need help from someone who knows what I should be doing visually. AudioVisual Management World is just the kind of company I’m talking about. I’ll be too busy worrying about other stuff and it’ll be nice letting someone else take care of things like this for me.

They’re based out of San Diego and provide audio visual consulting, audiovisual rentals, and graphic design services. So, they pretty much make your presentations beautiful and interesting.  All you have to do is write the speech and, um, make the speech. There’s not much more for you to worry about.

What I find totally fascinating is their audience response systems. I wasn’t even sure what this was, so I looked it up. According to Wikipedia, it’s a means to allow audience participation, such as live polls and telephone interaction. So, it’s basically the kind of system that "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" uses for their lifelines. That is definitely something I’ll be looking into further. What better way to make a presentation than to allow the audience to help? I’m pretty sure I could have fun with that one too.
